The Audiologists of Holley Institute

The Department of Audiology at St. John Hospital & Medical Center is conveniently located in Professional Building One, Suite, 223. Valet parking is available. St. John Hospital & Medical Center Holley Institute audiologists have extensive training and skills to evaluate the hearing of adults, infants and children of all ages. Using our state of the art equipment and experience we conduct a wide variety of tests to determine the exact nature of an individuals hearing problem. Based on our Alliance philosophy of a seamless pathway for care the audiologists refer patients to physicians when the hearing problem requires a medical or surgical evaluation.

B. Jill Wells, AuD, CCC-A, FAAA - Lead Audiologist

B. Jill Wells, AuD, the Lead Audiologist at SJHMC, is an experienced clinical audiologist with over 20 years practice in ear, hearing and balance testing. She was a strong advocate in bringing newborn hearing screening to all newborns in all Michigan hospitals. She also lobbied in Lansing to bring State Licensure to Audiologists in Michigan. Dr. Wells particularly enjoys testing infants and children who are difficult to test and is mindful when communicating difficult results to parents. Dr. Wells received her Bachelor’s degree from Michigan State University, her Master’s degree from California State University, Long Beach and graduated with her Doctor of Audiology degree from AT Stills University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology (AAA) and American Speech Hearing Association (ASHA). She is a passed board member of the Michigan Academy of Audiology and a founding board member of the Michigan Audiology Coalition.

Glenn Clippard, M.A., CCC-A, FAAA - Audiologist

Is an licensed audiologist with over 20 years of experience in diagnostic and rehabilitative audiology.  He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Oakland University in 1986 and his Master’s of Arts in Audiology from Wayne State University in 1990.  Glenn worked as a clinical audiologist and cochlear implant coordinator at Harper Hospital in Detroit for 12 years before joining St. John Hospital’s Audiology Department in 2003.  He is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Audiology from the American Speech, Hearing, and Language Association.  Glenn also served as an Assistant Instructor for 12 years at Wayne State University.
